We loved staying at Charis´s place, we wanted a quiet location in nature and that is what we got. It was lovely drinking coffee in the mornings outside with just the sound of birds. It is about a 20 minute walk into Lakka. It is a bit hill on the way back but nothing awful. Definitely bring a torch for the evenings. There is parking space for a car. The neighbors next door and their dog are lovely. The kitchen is quite simple so may not suit people who want to do a lot of self catering but it was fine for simple meals. We found the beds really comfortable (starting to become more important as we getting older). There was also some lovely gifts of local produce left which we really enjoyed and the house has some useful extra´s such as mosquito repellent, simple first aid kit etc which came in use. Also if Charis offers to meet you, it is worth taking him up on the offer as cabs found the house difficult to find. We would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous, serene and remote chateau type building (although you stay in a smaller part of the building) it’s a really nice escape from the rest of the island. And the neighbours friendly and loving Alsatian dog is such a dream to hang out with and welcome you when you get home. Charis was very welcoming and helpful. It is a nice chance to explore the hills and have a more peaceful stay on the island. You can walk to Lakka and it’s local beach in 20 minutes but you definitely should have a car to hire and be up for driving up some tricky windy bumpy roads!

Charis is a very friendly and helpful host! The house is situated in a very calm part of the island and the neigbours are very nice.

Very picturesque location and property. Mr. Charis is incrredibly accommodating, ferried us to and from the port and gave us great tips on where to visit. In love with Paxos and definitely going again!

Charis house is located in an idyllic landscape, in a green beautiful valley. Many lovely paths lead to different wonderful places . In fifteen minutes you can walk to the nice and lively village of Lakka, a great spot to have dîner along the sea. The house is traditional, confortable, with two nice bedrooms,with a lovely and flowery terrace overhanging the valley. Great neighborhood is to be mentioned. Charis is an exceptional host, welcoming, helpful, sympathetic . He makes all his possible to find solutions for you, to give you the contacts you need. I cannot separate the house and Charis, with his unique sense of hospitality. I highly recommend that place, where I will try to go again as soon as possible.
