Such a gorgeous rental! Stunning rooftop, thoughtful amenities, and comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed the pool, the espresso maker and the hammocks. The location was perfect for walking and also had a feeling of privacy from the busy streets. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Alex’s place was an absolute pleasure to stay at during our weeklong stay in Guanajuato. We’ve been so used to staying at “professional” AirBnBs where the host doesn’t live there, the bare minimum is provided, and everything is IKEA furnished that it’s such a welcome to stay at place that’s cared for and thoughtful for guests. It feels like staying at a friend’s home and Alex is VERY responsive. A few positive notes: 1) Plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper, towels, and free water. 2) A well-stocked kitchen (herbs, utensils, etc.) 3) Fantastic location (10 minute walk to Jardin de La Union, but not too close to the center so you can have some peace and quiet) The only slightly negative thing I can think of is that the master bedroom does get a bit warm during the day (since it’s on the top floor) even while the fan is running and with the shades drawn. It does cool off at night when you open the windows but you may need ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper since it’s Mexico :)

Loved Guanajuato, and Alex’s place was really icing on the cake. Super well appointed with all the creature comforts you would ever need. The rooftop patio and pool was perfection after a long day of walking. The huge movie screen projector in the bedroom was amazing as well. Alex was super responsive and helpful anytime I needed anything. A lovely stay!

If you’re looking for a unique experience in Guanajuato, look no further. Alex has created a space that is welcoming, relaxing, colorful, and creative - just like Guanajuato! The unique design of the home combined with all the conveniences needed for a long term stay make it ideal for remote work. We stayed and worked for a month comfortably - fast internet, space to spread out, super comfortable beds, and great service from Consuelo all made it easy. The home invites you to enjoy the outdoors - on the rooftop deck, pool, or in the 2 outdoor spots private to the unit. Watching the city from the hammock is a real treat. There is city noise, but the place feels tucked away while still being close to the Centro. Also, Alex was a great host - very responsive whenever we needed anything, and had great recommendations for the city! If you get a chance to stay here, go for it! You’ll make great memories 😊

I have stayed at Alex's place twice now and will continue to! I love the space so much and think the location is perfect. It is conveniently located right by Mercado Embajadoras, and is walkable to Centro without dealing with tons of noise at night. Alex is a super flexible, helpful, and responsive host, and he really goes above and beyond to make your stay seamless and enjoyable. The wifi is fast and strong which made working from GTO a breeze! The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Thank you Alex, can't wait to stay at your place again soon (hopefully)!
