La Longère used to be a real ruin of an old farm house, which we transformed into a cosy, eco friendly and comfortable holiday cottage (max 6 pers) close to the sea and in the middle of wood and farmlands. Home & Garden The cottage is situated next to our own house with a view over the farmlands next to us. In the enclosed garden you can enjoy the silence, the singing of the birds and the sun. Eco & Co To rebuild the farmhouse, we used a lot of recuperated and local wood, we worked with straw, stones, wood chops, chalk and saw dust, We made our own paint and managed to decorate the cottage almost entirely with brocante and lovely second-hand and self-made furniture Upstairs & Downstairs Downstairs: a spacious open kitchen with stove, oven, dish washer and a lot of utensils, pots, pans and crockery, a nice seating area with a very comfortable sofa. a well filled library (English, Dutch and French books and magazines), a spacious entree with a toilet. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with a double bed (160x200cm), 1 bedroom with a single bed (90x190cm), an extra matress or baby cot are optional, a bathroom with shower, sink and a separate toilet. The beds are made upon arrival and the towels in the bathroom are ready to use.
