AB-22134, Great Abaco Island · 整套公寓 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · 100% Renovated, Ground Floor Condo with Boat Slip
This is a ground floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with spectacular views of Brigantine Bay within the resort community of Treasure Cay. There is a deep water boat slip that can accommodate boats up to 40' in length. You will be a 3 minute walk to the stunning 3.5-mile stretch of the powdery white sand and clear turquoise water. Shops and restaurants are just a short walk away as well. The condo has been 100% renovated! Since the destruction of Hurricane Dorian we have re-done the unit in its entirety. Everything is brand new including cabinets, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and tile flooring. You have a beautiful view of Brigantine Bay from the kitchen, dining room and living room. Relax knowing your boat is right outside your door!
We had a fabulous stay at the condo. The views were beautiful and everyone we met was so friendly. The condo was very comfortable and exactly how it was described.
Condo is great.Location is great. There are boat rentals in the marina. I would highly suggest renting a boat for your stay. The beach near the condo is one of the prettiest beaches we have ever seen.
Beautiful place and great host. Everything you could want for an Abaco trip! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
This unit was remodeled after hurricane Dorian and we were the first guests to stay at the resort. The condo was nicely renovated and very clean when we arrived. The boat slip is out back and the property manager was in contact with us throughout the day of our arrival as we had some boat issues and got in much later than expected. The unit was a little short on towels which we talked to the property manager about. They thought there was more in an extra linen closet but we never could find them but I believe they will have that corrected for the future. The biggest issue with the condo is the AC. There are 3 wall units. One in the main living area and one in each bedroom. The bedrooms blew fairly cool air and would get down to around 76-78 but the living room unit would never go under 81-82. We told the property manager and he told us it was from the sliding door being open too much. However we were very careful not to keep it open and we were gone all day every day on the boat fishing and no one was in the unit and still when we came back it was very hot. It was frustrating to basically be ignored and told it was our fault for keeping doors open. When on the boat all day and in the summer heat of Bahamas this made it really uncomfortable especially when we were wanting to cook the fish we made etc and the kitchen was so hot. We also were confused about the pool as the first evening we arrived we were told it was not operational and that we could use the pool at the beach resort down the street. We rented a golf cart and did go there some but it would be a pretty hot walk in the heat. I think if the pool wasn’t working that should of been disclosed in the listing. We did see people in the pool the last day so maybe it was cleaned but we were never informed by the property manager or host that we could use it. Once again when the room is so hot that would of been a real help to have. The property manager arrived at our house the night before we left and the morning of checkout at 7 am to ask what time we were checking out. It seemed a little intrusive as check out was listed as 11 am on the listing and that’s when we would obviously plan on leaving. Overall the location of the unit in treasure is very nice. Not far from the fuel docks. The island is still rebuilding but the little restaurant and grocery store and liquor store by the old marina are open. Most our time was spent elsewhere as it just didn’t feel as relaxing being there. The island definitely still feels a little less safe than other places in the area. We left and added a few more days to our trip and stayed at green turtle club. Obviously a different type of experience as it is a resort property but the price of the room was very similar and we had cold ac and all the amenities. I think if this unit is going to be rented they need to provide a little more something special to make it worth the cost when there are so many great places to stay in the Abacos. I wish them luck after the long haul of recovery from Dorian for sure!
The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet condo that is just a short walk to stores, restaurants, and most importantly the 3.5 mile white sand beach. You can walk everywhere but if you want to expand your distance, you can rent a golf cart nearby for the entire week or just a few days.
We usually just take a taxi from the Marsh Harbor or Treasure Cay airport and then walk to restaurants and beach or we may rent a golf cart for a few days. The taxi from Marsh Harbour is $90 each direction. There is car rental in town.
