Really enjoyed staying at Vagia's place. Right upon arrival, we found the kitchen and refrigerator fully stocked with drinks and snacks ... a really nice touch that we rarely find in the US. The house is very new and the open floor plan and the ultra large sliding doors are a nice departure from the typical Greek house design which often has more walls than glass. The house is surrounded by an olive grove providing for a nice setting. From some parts of the patio you can see the Mediterranean sea in the distance. The kitchen is well equipment, and so if you are planning to cook there is everything there. I really liked the Nespresso machine and a full stock of different coffee pods which lasted us the full two-week stay. The beach was really easy to get to (about 2min drive). The beach has a number of small beach bars so all you need to bring is your towel and sunscreen. The beach bars have umbrellas and chairs and all the drinks, food, coffee is brought to you by beach staff. You can see the island of Samothrace right in front of you. We visited the both Samothrace and the island of Thassos on this trip. Turns out ... pandemic is a great time to visit Greece. Everything was open and the tourist crowd was moderate. There are some really great restaurants within 15min drive from the house. We recommend Ammo Ammo and Taverna Ai Giorgis. The food is top quality and the prices are so low compared to the US. We also visited the Kyklopas olive orchard.... the most awarded Greek olive oil maker. Great gifts if you have some space in your luggage. In terms of everyday necessities, there is a gas station convenience store and a great coffee place short walk from the house. These two stores combined have everything you need for cooking. There is amazing fresh fruit all summer long.

The house is perfect for a family with children: the yard is huge, great for playtime, 2 min distance from the beach with a car, big enough living room. There is everything needed for a perfect vacation.

Vagya and her husband are quality people. They welcomed us so warmly, Vagya took care of everything needed for a great stay. The house was sparkling clean, the fridge was full of different beverages, water, snacks for the kids, jiuce, yoghurt, baby treats, ice cream , as well as cooking products, which made a great impression on us.The house is located in a quiet spot in the olive grove, close to everything at the same time. If you are a family with children you will find lots of toys and entertainment for them. I highly recommend. This property is much better that the pictures. We will definitely come again! Thank you very much for everything!
