Location great although no parking and lack of availability in the surrounds during peak summer times. House would have been great however we were utterly disappointed with the lack of basic hygiene. Rubbish from previous stay left behind; a hit bank holiday weekend meant the smell was quite bad. Listed as non smoking yet a bbq tray left full of cigarette butts. Bins in bathroom not changed. Worst of all, there was sand and pieces of (paper? - presumably from the Burger King left in the downstairs bin) in the main bedroom. We were very uncomfortable on the first night stay. This is unacceptable, even if during high summer periods, and in particular given the cost we paid for 2 nights (almost £500) The only positive outcome was the swift responsiveness of Bloom Stays, who sent the house cleaner to rectify the following day. However, we were not offered any refund on the cleaning fees…… Shall not be booking again.

What a lovely cottage to stay for a few days. Perfectly located and equipped with everything we needed. Excellent communications too - we felt cared for ! Highly recommended! Thank you

Really beautiful compact cottage, on a quiet alley cutting through from the church to the toll bridge. Everything you need for a short stay - the garage sells firewood if you’re looking!
