OLD MEXCO~ New King Mattress~This is a charming studio style cabin, ideal for a couple. It can accomodate four guest with full sized new memory foam sleeper sofa in living room.With its stucco wall, red clay tile roof and wrough iron balcony, gives you the feeling of a Mexican village. The tub is perfect to soak your pains away. The cabin has a private bathroom with two headed shower. Dining area for two, microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. Since 1985 our lodge A has housed weary travelers, successful hunters, lovers, adventures and all others looking to treat themselves. Built with down trees from the Methow Valley and Nespelem Washington this lodge logs are massive. Leave guests to ask "are the logs real?" Yes they are. The tables in this cabin are epoxied with artifacts, memorabilia and trinkets are all inside the table. two separate carvings have been done in the log interior of cabin. One a farm scene another is depicting siesta time.

excellent vacation spot
Stay was very peaceful and calm. At the arrival the host helped us to checkin quickky. We stayed at a Mexican style resort room and is very similar to whats shown in the pictures. We enjoyed the hot tub in the room a lot, it was very convenient. We had hot water running all along without any issues. Host provided as many fresh towels as we needed. They were prompt in picking trash and used towels. The only draw back is the room needs to be mopped often, they did not enter the room for servicing due to Covid. Be aware resort is filled with lots of flies all over which needs to be taken care of. Lake front seating would have been more cleaner and organized. Somehow lake entrance seemed so smelly and drenched. Restaurant inside the resort would have been more convenient as it is a small place. There is a Pub on the opposite, people are welcoming and food tasted good. There were few good restaurants if you drive around 8 miles to Eprata. Agave has very good mexican food. There are plenty of scenic drives near by. They are breathtaking especially if you are visiting in Summer. We can see a totally different side of Washington state with spectacular view of dry lands and self emerged rocks. Dry falls, deep lake, Perch lake, Great Coulee Dam, Summer falls, are must to visit locations around. Beware there are no food joints around. You need to carry food and drinks, especially with kids. We took instapot which saved us the most. Sun glasses and sun screen are must. Over all we enjoyed the 3 days stay, it was very peaceful. Dont miss the wild Horses monument view point while returning to Seattle. Thank you.
The Mexican Room at the Notaras Lodge at Soap Lake Resort was pretty nice. Not a lot of light came into the room, which made it cooler for sleeping. We love the peacefulness of Soap Lake just a few steps away. I always feel better after a swim in the healing mineral waters. I would like it if the mini fridge was a little bigger and in better shape to accommodate more beverages. The staff were all nice and very helpful.
Great place to get away from home and very comforting with plenty to do nearby, will definitely be staying here again in the future.
