Paper Planes cottage was such a nice place to stay. Being so close to the water made for nice walks down to the dock. The house had everything we needed.

Amazing place to relax and unwind. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of rooms, beds and space. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The cottage club is filled with lots to keep the whole family busy. Lots of hours spent in the pool. There is tennis courts as well, we brought our rackets but the club has everything available to use. I have water babies and the lake was a bit cold but that didn’t stop them from splashing around everyday and enjoying the water slide. There is a place to rent kayaks which was an added perk. Parks close by for the kids and everything you would want in one place. Easy check in and check out. Awesome communication throughout. Highly recommend, we are already discussing when we will book our next trip.

Sheena & Jayme’s place provided the ideal start to our honeymoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed for a home away from home and was so comfortable. Sheena is responsive, attentive and so, so friendly! The welcome gift was a wonderful added bonus. Would highly recommend Paper Planes cottage!

The cottage is really cute and perfect for a very small group. Like other reviews, the check-in process was a bit lengthy and there seemed to be more rules about how not to damage the property or incur fees rather than enjoying and relaxing on your holiday. The bunkbed bedroom is extremely deceiving. Unfortunately, none of us were able to sleep/ use the beds. They are 100% for children no taller than 4ft. The beds are not actual mattresses and any adult would be way too big (tall) to sleep on them - it made for an awful first night. The fireplace was hard to start and the hot tub wasn't the greatest. I will say, Sheena is extremely responsive, polite, and helpful. For our trip, I really just wanted something relaxing and not have to communicate with the host or worry about the neighbors. Currently, the neighborhood board is reviewing if Airbnb's should be allowed and it is made more than clear that Airbnb go-ers are not welcomed in the community. I wouldn't go with a group of people but rather an SO or two to three other couples.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy the stay as much as we hoped to. The place is smaller than we expected and there are hiccups here and there. Sheena, however, is a kind and understanding host, who tried to mediate issues here and there to make it a better stay for us. We liked the private hottub, the nearby beach, but there were multiple check in instructions given, which were too lengthy and confusing. There seems to be more instructions given on how to not damage their facilities than on how to use and enjoy them. I probably would not recommend this for the given price point.
