Nestled in the Himalayan foothills surrounded by pine trees and sharing spectacular panoramic mountain view, Norwegian Wood sits perfectly sung in the middle of a big piece of land surrounded by an Apple orchid and a beautiful landscape that changes with every passing season. We are an easy taxi/bus ride from the Aut bus stand (28kms) and Kullu Airport (52kms). We are accessible through a 10-minute drive from the Jibhi Market, so there's little to no traffic to waste your time away. As soon as you take the rustic cemented stares to the cabin, the Crimson doorway and window pane catches your eye. Named after a Mediterranean, sweet smelling red flower, the interiors of the space are sure to steal your heart away. Built on the concept of the tiny-house movement, which is an upcoming architectural concept which advocates for essentially downsizing and simplifying grand living spaces, the cabin offers you an upbeat yet cozy ground floor with seating arrangements on the floor as well as by the window, attached washroom, a rustic under-the-staircase bookshelf and an internally connected staircase to the loft. The sleeping arrangements are in the loft/attic, where a welcoming king sized bed awaits you with windows that open to the sky for natural lighting and unobstructed mountain view. The attic height from the centre is 5.5 ft and ends at 1 ft. As if it wasn’t enough, the cabin has its own private patio area with amazing mountain views and all the outdoor lushenss that you would have headed to the mountains for!

We stayed in Moonflower property which is exactly as pictures describes. Shailja's hospitality is exactly what a tourist expects, she's a great cook and makes sure everything is according to your taste. She even baked a cake for my wife's birthday which was exceptionally delicious. Her cafe is a very cozy place to sit and relax. She even arranged the bonnfire on request. Overall its a great place to stay and spend quality time with your loved ones.
This was amazing! Shailja's place is pristine, and her cooking is the best. The house overlooks a beautiful valley and is just far enough from the main city to have a remote vibe while still being accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

Experience the rising sun behind the mountain that brightens the valley, the melody of wind through the needles of the pine trees, amazing sunsets that feels like you are immersed in the alpenglow as it fades to twilight. As darkness falls, stargaze under the blanket of stars and sleep to the musical stream of the nearby creek.
As we provide you with an experience that’s immersed in nature, please be in the awareness that various kinds of animals, birds and reptiles coexist with us. Please understand that it is their land too, and they are more afraid of us - humans tend to be destructive and it is a long known threat to their kinds. We are an easy taxi ride from Aut bus stand (28kms) and Kullu Airport (52kms). You can opt for local bus from Aut as well. We'll help you book a taxi to get to where you need to go to see any Local attractions or pick-up from Aut or airport.
