Spectacular! Didn't want to leave. The whole family loved it! Getting there was super easy, although the road will put a beating on a car if you want to make any time. Ended up swapping out my minivan for a large SUV just to make getting around a little easier. Leo is great and speaks excellent English which is helpful for us poor Americans. Go out on the ocean fishing if you can. Restaurants are pricey pretty much everywhere, but our favorite was the "Restaurante La Fortuna" AKA "the Bus". Super unique and affordable. Best bet is to bring lots of groceries and just never leave, though!

We had an amazing time at Casa Perfecta. the perfect getaway. relaxing, private, serene. whales right out front, miles of beach to walk. Bella and Diva (house dogs) walked the beach with us every day. We had 3 nights of Gabby's meals - a great option at the end of the day. Drove up to Cabo Pulmo one day and down to San Jose del Cabo on Thursday for the art walk. We will be back. Leo- onsite caretaker was amazing, friendly, and responsive to any needs. We felt very safe and relaxed :)

It is difficult to describe the uniqueness of this place where we spent 8 days and never saw a soul on the beach. That alone would make it worth it, but there is so much more. Casa Perfecta is super clean and beautifully decorated with a Mexican beach, local artisan, brightly colored feel. It would be perfect for a family, with ample games, books, pool, ocean, beach, and the most restful deck to hang out on all day long -- in the shade or full sun. Leo is a gem and takes great care of the extraordinary, peaceful garden. He was very responsive to anything we needed and we loved Gabby's simple, Oaxacan meals! We went out to dinner 2 nights and had Gabby's cooking the other 6 and all agreed hers was the best food we had on vacation! The guac and margaritas at Vida Soul are good, food pricey and just ok. Villa del Faro was lovely, but the food was pricey and just ok. The road to the Casa along the coast is bumpy (think washboard) but doable -- just don't be in a hurry. We will be back!
