We were only here for a short stay but thoroughly enjoyed staying at Janene’s and wished we could have stayed longer! She was extremely courteous and helpful and made sure we knew where to park. The little “cottage” was adorable and so comfortable. She even had snacks and water waiting for us as well as fresh flowers which were such a sweet touch. This was easily one of best stays in an Airbnb and will definitely be back!

We absolutely adored Janene's quaint little "cottage". Location was great for us young parents who needed a short and peaceful weekend away. It was on a quiet street that was really picturesque and and the location felt safe and private. It was still just a short Uber ride to the town center which was absolutely adorable (and not overly touristy, it felt authentic and not like a tourist trap). Trader Joe's pretty close too which was a plus if you forget anything or don't want to eat out at every meal. The labeling in Janene's place made everything so easy to find, the place was extremely clean, and she went above and beyond to give us some extra goodies like snacks and espresso. Bonus points bc the bed was the most comfortable and clean we have ever slept in at an airbnb! Thanks Janene!

Janene is a wonderful host! The studio is even more spacious than it appears in the photos and has everything you could need. Janene was so lovely and thoughtful. From the snack basket to fresh picked oranges, from helpful labels around the studio to the children’s toys. The studio is attached to a main house but still feels very private. It’s centrally located and only a quick 4 minute drive to the historic part of town. Highly recommend!

Janene was maybe the nicest most responsive host we’ve ever had. Her cottage was perfect a weekend stay and had everything we needed. Next time we’re in town we’ll definitely be staying here again.

The cottage is simply wonderful. It’s spacious, with a nice size living area, kitchen and bathroom, not to mention the private outdoor space. The cottage is attached to a larger home, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking just a few minutes drive from historic downtown San Juan Capistrano. One can also take an easy 30 minute stroll along the San Juan Creek Trail/Bike Path into town. Wendy, the host, could not be anymore hospitable. She was welcoming, on point with communication, and had many lovely touches throughout the cottage, making for a delightful and enjoyable stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage and Wendy as a host.
