Eric and Shelby's place was just what we needed for a quick weekend away. It was a winter get-a-way so we didn't venture out to use the fire pit, but it was stocked in case we wanted to. The bed was comfy which is extremely important to me, and we slept great. We LOVED the fact that the place was dog-friendly. Our dogs were very excited to be there and enjoyed their new surroundings. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. Nice wine glasses (important) and all the items needed to make a decent meal. The cabin was very clean--and I tend to be a bit picky as I used to clean houses for a living in college. The only thing missing was some washcloths-- I couldn't find them but didn't ask about it either since I didn't need them that bad, and my husband thought a lamp in the living room would be a great addition, instead of the stark overhead lights--but then we realized the lights could dim, so that worked out just fine. Overall, it was a great little mini vacay!

We had a blast, it finally snowed which was much needed & set the tone for a great outdoor fire atmosphere. Place was very dog friendly! No complaints!

We rented the cabin at Christmastime to visit family in the area. We have a toddler, and the space was a perfect "home base" for us. The pack and play crib and high chair were in great condition and worked well for our kiddo. The cabin was very toddler-friendly in terms of not having many objects in reach of a little one. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and our host was very responsive. We'd gladly stay again.
