The riverside house was wonderful! We spent a lot of time birdwatching in the four seasons room, and the kitchen was big enough that we could all cook and eat together. The location was beautiful and easy to find even for those of us traveling out-of-state. We were a group of seven and the house didn't feel cramped at all — each couple/family was able to have their own room, and the common areas were all big enough to fit all of us. It was a very relaxing, stress-free vacation, and we all had a great time! Thanks so much!

1/8/24 through 3/29/24 Upon arriving at my new residence for the next three months, I was first impressed with its location, surrounded by water, I knew I was would be living in a vacation community. The home very clean & roomy, but a feeling that I was at home. I enjoyed the view of the water & abundant wildlife in the area, deer, squirrels, rabbits, and occasional flocks of wild turkeys can be seen & enjoyed. The hosts Karen & Wayne, lovely people, ensured that I enjoyed every minute of my stay. I loved the kitchen, for I enjoy cooking, and spent much of Sunday preparing my meals for the week. Many good places to eat & my favorite is the Riverside restaurant and lounge. Its been around since the 40s or 50s, located on the river, has good service, food & atmosphere second to none. I would give my stay here two thumbs up and a big toe.

Beautiful cottage. Would love to visit again during a rain storm or snow storm to enjoy the glass deck. Absolutely stunning in any weather. Only drawback, if you are a light sleeper the beautiful wood floors are a bit squeaky. Karen provided everything necessary for a great stay.

Karens place was perfect. 30 minutes from Purdue- a big space for everyone to relax in. Our son spent the night with us instead of his dorm when we came to visit , and he told everyone about it! I hope it is available for our next visit!
