We booked the stay at last minute, but host was very responsive and accepted quickly. It was exactly as mentioned in the description. But unfortunately we face power failure at the stay. That full area got power shut down due to some transformer fault. So stay was bit uncomfortable due to non availability of AC. Any it’s not the fault of host, it was some thing no can control. Other than that it was place to rest.

Since the booking, host Pratap was responsive for all the questions until the check in before his After the check-in, its all Dhanraj, the caretaker who is ensures that there aren't any issues with any of the facilities. About the Villa itself, its is a gem for friends get-togethers. Won’t be any bad for family get-togethers as well..It has got everything you need. A big living room with enough chairs and couches and 6 bedrooms, all air-conditioned and a kitchen with all the basic utensils that you would need. Not to mention about the big patios overlooking the backwaters..Can’t ask for more. Maybe a swimming pool at the terrace :). Overall, a wonderful place to spend a day or two..Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

The villa is a labour of love - you can see that in the way it is designed. As described, it has 6 rooms, a functional kitchen and access to a washing machine + dryer. The villa's backyard looks over the backwaters, and is a lovely sight at night. However, the villa is located in an off the road township which is sparsely populated. The roads in the township are also sparingly lit. The villa was quite clean, except for the bath tubs and the under sink cabinets across the house. Swiggy delivers food here, though the delivery guy may need instructions on how to reach the place. We were a family (with kids) staying here. We were able to get fresh milk from the stores nearby (close to Taj fisherman's cove) but it is recommended to carry basic groceries (tea/ coffee/ biscuits/ bread etc.). There is a tv with cable access for entertainment, the kovalam beach is a 10 mins walk away and there is peace & quiet all around.

Pratap was a great host. The check in process and the stay was very comfortable. The location was also very private and peaceful. Definitely would recommend staying here

Great place for friends and family to hangout. Nice views of the lake from the bedroom balconies.
