Be forewarned!! If you didn't catch it in the listing, as happened to us, know that the hosts are charging an additional fee that they indicate is a Municipal Tourist Tax, that they do NOT include in the fee at booking. Instead, they are requiring quests to pay that money IN CASH at check-in. It is highly unusual for all fees on Airbnb to NOT be included in price, and certainly begs the question as to whether these cash payments are actually being transferred to the "municipality" that is charging the fee. I had to request FOUR times for a receipt for the payment of that fee, and only got it after submitting a message on Airbnb. Beyond that, the place was clean, well-designed with a good layout. Barking dog/s, perhaps next door, required closing all windows in order to sleep. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom smelled horribly of cat urine, and the hosts' cat jumped into our lodging thru partly open shades and windows several times. Would not return to this particular Airbnb site.

Great location for surfing (10min walk to Ribeira D’Ilhas) and chill atmosphere at the bungalow area. Nice pool! :) The host was very friendly and communication was smooth. Kitchen facilities and air ventilation could have been better, there was a damp smell in the bungalow. We stayed a week and no problem, but worth mentioning for people who are more sensitive with air quality issues.

Well equipped bungalow with an included parking space, barbecue area, pool and fire pit. Nice host and only 5 minutes to the ocean (by car). All in all a good experience :)
