Clean stay - the flat had lots of room

We only stayed for one night whilst on route to another destination. The pictures in the ad aren’t all of the flat so it’s quite a bit different and just starting to turn in to looking tired. The property less below average for cleanliness in some areas like the bathroom. The communal hall is crammed with random things like a large mirror just leaning against the wall and bag and bags of linen waiting to be laundered. The front door to the communal area is left unlocked and is broken so doesn’t shut very well so doesn’t feel secure. The communal door which a combination lock is jammed open and although listed as having a ring doorbell for security it’s no where to be seen. Overall slightly disappointing, the locals are nice and there’s a couple of handy shops around but not much to get excited about here. And if you are security conscious, a single Chubb lock probably doesn’t feel up to it.

The flat was large, with high ceilings, it was light and airy. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the linen and towels dazzling white. There were a few ‘attention to detail’ points that could have made it better but generally speaking my stay was very pleasant. The flat is convenient to the station and walkable to the sea (1.5m)
