The description of this house is not accurate, the house does not have access to the lake so no swimming, no kayak, no hammock in front of the lake. The house was not clean, it looked like no one has been there for long time, at least to clean. Spider webs were around the house, every corner, every window has it. We opened the closet to look for an extra blanket and we found a cockroach. On the back porch we found a smoked cigar. The smell of the house was terrible. We definitely felt this like a scam, I would say the house is worth no more than $150 per night. Water was not good to drink, the water filter was not working, that water tasted horrible. I am waiting for my refund since we had the worst night ever there. We had to stay the first night because it was late to find another place but we left early in the morning after booking a new real lake house near marble falls. We have pics of all I mentioned before.

We stayed here in late November and loved how quiet and peaceful the area was. The cottage was warm, comfortable, cozy, and well-stocked with kitchen essentials. We fished from the shoreline, kayaked, and had a fire on the back deck every day of our stay. As a heads up the house water is super hard so I'd recommend bringing in your own drinking water. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning at other times of the year!
