Property is easy to find, parking is a bit of an issue but the locals basically ignore local parking restrictions, so we did likewise! Entrance hallway and stairs is grubby but the flat was clean. The flat is well located for exploring Largs (walking distance to almost everything) but the central location and not very soundproof windows make the property surprisingly noisy. Early morning traffic noise makes an alarm clock redundant, and Friday evening is filled with the soundtrack of enthusiastic revellers. The washer and dryer were welcome perks, backed up with instant and reliable hot water... The shower worked well but the glass screen struggled to keep water off the bathroom floor. Larger towels would have been a nice addition. There were two main issues: an uncomfortable mattress coupled with a thin duvet (we purchased another duvet locally) impacts sleep and overall enjoyment, and the settee/armchairs are old/worn and generally very much past their best.

Excellent stay. Gerry was helpful at all times , prior to our arrival. The flat is right in centre of town , next to ferry terminal, beach and 1 minute walk from the railway station. Weather was fantastic also :)

This is a fantastic flat right in the centre of Largs. Very handy for the ferry to Millport and the shops/restaurants/pubs of Largs. Due to being right at the ferry port, the road outside is very busy, and quite noisy. This didn’t bother us, but just something to be aware of when booking.
