When we first walked in, we encountered an extremely moldy towel laying on the sink. It was disgusting. We tried to wash the towels (because none of the towels appeared very clean); the washer worked, but the dryer didn’t. We were left with only wet towels. There was standing water pooled under the kitchen sink. The whole house smelled moldy the entire time we were there. We tried to cook, but the pots and pans were so caked with grime it took us a half hour just to get them to a decently clean state. The stove burner coils were so warped that a pot wouldn’t sit stably on one, making them unsafe to use. We ended up eating at Waffle House. We saw roaches on multiple occasions, we killed one on the kitchen counter. If we were staying for longer than two nights we would have left. We tried to call the host and their voicemail box was full. No call back. The host has put nice fixtures in place to make it seem nice for Airbnb. DO NOT stay here

Let me start by saying that the location was perfect, since we were attending a wedding a couple miles away. Locating the place was easy because there was clear signage to direct us. We were expecting a bumpy road, so that wasn't an issue. Upon arrival, we discovered there was no toilet paper and after an 8 hour trip, that was not the greatest start to our stay. I'm not sure that the floors had been swept or vacuumed. We found a used tampon applicator behind a door. Several artifical nails, a blowdryer screen, a clipper guard all on the floor. When I reached out to Pamela about the toilet paper and tampon applicator, she responded that she would let the housekeeper know. Bring your own forks and spoons because only knives are provided. We also had to rewash any dishes we used because they weren't clean. I realize that the place is inexpensive and I certainly was not expecting 5 star accommodations. However, I did expect a clean place.

Would possibly stay again. Driveway is a bit narrow in spots. Comfortable bed. Liked the fireplaces!
