You’ll find gorgeous parks and reserves dotted along the water's edge around the bays which are perfect for family picnics and BBQs, most with playgrounds for the kids. Or, if you prefer some exercise, there are paths and bike lanes which will take you along the water's edge from Corlette to Salamander Bay. Salamander Bay Square is a thriving shopping centre with Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Aldi as well as a range of specialty stores and a food court. You’ll find a range of casual food plus entertainment in the centre, with Tomaree Aquatic Centre and Toboggan Hill Park nearby. Pets are NOT welcome at this property. To ensure the comfort of our guests and neighbours, we do not accept bookings for 'Schoolies' breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow parties of any sort. Kindly note a deposit of 50% AUD of total amount will be charged at time of confirmation. An option of direct deposit and credit card is offered. A $1000 Security Deposit (PRE-Authorisation) IS TO BE Held. The bond will be processed prior to arrival. We only accept Mastercard or Visa. You can check in anytime between the hours of 2PM and 5PM on Weekdays. On weekdays after-hours, weekends and public holidays there is an afterhours check-in service. If you require this service, please inform one of the members at LJ Hooker Nelson Bay prior to your day of arrival. Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed on our website which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence. Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. The guests limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property Immediately with no refund of monies including security deposit. The house is in a great location. With some maintenance it would be perfect. Be aware NO internet of smart tv.
Location great, nice views, neighbours were friendly, Jacuzzi was a nice bonus. The house needed TLC - lights didn't work properly (requiring an electrician visit), DVD player broken. Remember to take Linen, Toilet Paper, Towels etc as the place doesn't have these basic items. With a small amount of maintenance work done, this place would be amazing. The corner shop and coffee within walking distance is a plus. They had a variety of household staples.
Was a great spot with great views. The garage however was completely covered in bird poo and the lights downstairs only worked in the hallway so you couldn’t shower at night. Half the lounge room and kitchen lights were also out so it was very dim at night. We told the realestate about these issues and they seemed great about it and plan on fixing the issues before the next group. Otherwise it was great experience. We had breakfast on the balcony and watched the dolphins go past!
