This is a truly lovely property, with a wonderful view. Photos are accurate, as is the description. Many thoughtful touches. Bed in living area has comfortable mattress; I didn't try the other one. My Verizon cellular signal was generally between 2 and 3 bars. If you are looking for a secluded place in a beautiful area -- not a tourist area -- this is for you.

Jane’s place is the perfect location to relax on the ocean front in Maine. The area was quiet and peaceful. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views from the deck and windows in the house. Great trails within easy walking distance. Easy drive for a day trip up to Lubec and Campobello Island. If you want a quiet place to relax at a beautiful location, then book Jane’s place. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We highly recommend this ocean side get away. My wife and I had a great time. It has a lot of charm and makes you feel cut off from the world.

This was an incredibly cool spot on Great Wass Island! Yes, there are other houses around but you wouldn’t even know that when lounging by the rocks or sitting inside the house! The windows and mirrors also give you endless views of the ocean, birds, and waves! It was so very peaceful and relaxing as we watched the sun set over storm clouds to the west and we even were able to do some stargazing! Definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to relax and escape the busy life we are all addicted to. Jane was a great host and answered all our questions very quickly.
