We had a lovely stay at Brian and Wilma's Airbnb. It was in a perfect location for us to visit the beautiful north coast and we were able to travel by ferry, from Ballycastle to Rathlin Island, and spot some puffins, and also use the train, from Coleraine , to Londonderry which was a very interesting experience. The accommodation was ideal for us as a couple. We had everything we needed and the extras which were provided were very much appreciated. Being able to have a quiet outdoor space in which to relax and with somewhere to eat was also a bonus. Brian and Wilma were excellent hosts and offered us suggestions for outings that we might enjoy. We would definitely hope to return at some time.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Gateside, Brian’s place is fabulous and so homely! Even though the weather wasn’t on our side we made great use of the pergola, we had a barbecue and lit the fire and sat out for hours! Brian was an absolute pleasure to deal with, so friendly and helpful! He recommended us places to go and what places were nearby for us to explore! I would definitely recommend Gateside for a lovely weekend stay and we will definitely be back again!

Great location, close to Portrush but also very tranquil and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The garden was our favourite with the hammock swings and we spent a good amount of our weekend there enjoying the sun. Host was extremely welcoming and cottage was clean and tidy, would definitely stay again.

We arrived having unfortunately been involved in a road traffic collision ( not our fault) in a recovery vehicle! Not our normal way to arrive. Brian came right out and offered any help he could whilst we waited for a replacement vehicle. He offered us lifts and anything he could help with which felt very kind, generous and supportive when we were rather shocked. The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and clean and warm. The little welcome pack of various items were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. We definitely feel like we benefited from wonderfully kind Northern Irish hospitality. Thank you so much Brian. 🤩

Our stay at The Gatesjde Cottage was amazing! Brian was a great host who kindly showed us around the property upon arrival and he was easy to communicate with. The accommodation is very private and cozy and it had everything you would need including a breakfast pack. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation more and we will definitely be back!
