Mary's house is amazing, welcoming, clean, very well equipped. Excellent matresses on the beds, fully equipped kitchen, board games and toys for kids , bikes , hammock. We have biked to Blue sea beach Provincial Park - about 10 km one way of rather flat road with rare traffic. The space around the house is very pleasant - ideal grass, a lot of space for kids to run . Short walk to the beach which is very nice to explore in low tide. Very quiet place

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's and Tim's cottage. Our weather was perfect and so was the cottage. The cottage had everything and more. The beach was wonderful and the location of the provincial beach. We hope to schedule another week in 2023.

We had an amazing week at Mary's place. The screened in porch was a huge hit with my family who had travelled from all over the place for a much needed reunion near our home town of Tatamagouche. The beach is amazing and the attention to small details in the cottage did not go unnoticed. Board games, a fire pit, outdoor games and I even got to feed the community turkey (he wanders around saying hello). The bunk house was super cozy as well. AWESOME. Thanks to everyone who helped make our stay so pleasant. We'll be back for sure. :)

This was a wonderful cottage. It had everything we needed, inside and out. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 kids. We especially took advantage of the wonderful beach nearby with the kayaks and boogie boards provided. Would recommend this cottage to anyone and hope to return one day!

Mary’s cottage is perfect for a beachy getaway. The pictures don’t do the place justice. The cottage itself has a very large primary bedroom (queen bed and room for a travel cot for our little one) and the second bedroom is decent sized as well. The living room area is much bigger than it seems in the photos… we only had one rainy day in our week and we were comfortable inside for the whole day with 3 small kids. Mary answered our questions promptly leading up to the trip and check in was a breeze. We didn’t use the bunkhouse except to borrow linens, but it is very spacious as well. The beach is very close — 3 minute walk or so, and the water is so calm which is perfect with little kids. I had to work during the week, and the internet was fast and reliable (if that’s a concern for anyone). The AC from the mini-split was nice for the hot afternoons, but we found the place cooled down in the evenings nicely with the windows open and didn’t need it at night. Honestly this place was perfect. We absolutely loved our vacation at Mary’s and would definitely book again in the future.
