The place was nice. It had clean linens, which is #1. The pool and hot tub were the best. I thought the mess hall had a way to make reservations for meals and a game area (my misunderstanding). Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely book again.

There were 6 of us that stayed at Oakbones. Upon arriving we told a local vender where we were staying and their word for Oakbones was “kinda bare”, which I had no idea what that meant until we arrived. I would like to say first that the location was great and access was very easy. The air conditioning worked well, and we had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The rocking chairs on the porch were a plus. The areas that could have been better are: the coffee pot did not work well. Lighting in the bathrooms is minimal. We did not have enough dishes to accommodate 6 guests, especially coffee cups. There were not enough hand towels or wash cloths and no dish towels. There was lotion in the showers instead of body soap and we found 2 scorpions inside. These are just some small details that could make this an ideal place to stay. I have stayed at other ABnB’s and the small things make a difference.

This was such a unique and special experience, we loved our stay. Victor, the chef, made the trip so memorable. We will be coming back now every year. Thank you Victor!

Oakbones is a great place to stay! Great location and beautiful cabins and pool, just wish they had said in the description that there is no kitchen. Also the common area was locked the entire time we were there.
