Historic ,spacious, and comfortable home located located in downtown Marfa on "the boulevard," steps from the Presidio County courthouse with views of the iconic water tower from the covered front porch. Best wifi in town! A/C blows cold and heater keeps you warm! This is our vacation house in our favorite spot in the world, perfect for epic stargazing and enjoying the silence (with an occasional train whistle). The home was built in 1950 and is on the "boulevard" in Marfa, which is the only street situated in such a way that has a median running through it. We have a well on the property that is a mystery to us! We have 3 bedrooms: Master has a queen bed, 2nd Bedroom has a queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a twin daybed and pull-out twin. The house sleeps 6. We have 2 bathrooms. The Master bathroom has been recently remodeled with new Duravit sink, subway tile in tub shower, and new tile flooring. The 2nd bathroom was a complete remodel as well. CHECKIN/OUT: Checkins start at 4PM and checkout is 10AM. For early checkins or late checkouts talk to your host to make a request. Early checkins or late checkouts start at $50 each and are never a guarantee. PETS: We allow two pets max per visit. Pets are $50 per stay up to 3 max. Please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pet. Please do not allow pets to relieve themselves inside. Do not allow pets on furniture. Pets left alone must be crated in house. Failure to abide by the pet rules will result in a $250 fine.
