This is a home away from home! It is clean, warm, spacious and inviting! My son and I were traveling for the first time in Japan and this by far was our favorite place to stay! It is located in a busy shopping arcade, but once you get inside it is a peaceful oasis. Being able to do laundry in a machine that washes and dries was a big bonus. The upstairs room is very quiet and cozy. I would suggest if you are planning to sleep in the downstairs bedroom you bring eye shades and white noise as is is located closest to the street an opaque window lets some light in as well as hearing the occasional noises of action outside. I was still able to sleep comfortably and through the night in that room! Also, if you take the train to get there, be sure to catch the Local not the Limited Express (which will not stop there). The Oasis grocery nearby is awesome! If we come back to Osaka we would definitely stay here again! So comfortable and affordable!

Shikis place was spacious and relatively clean however the area is quite inconvenient. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get to Dotōmburi. The area itself is not great. There was a fight that broke out almost directly in front of our Airbnb and lots of yelling during the night. We would not reccomend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay here in Osaka. The Airbnb is about a 5-minute walk to the nearest train station. From there, the train takes about 10 minutes to get to the Osaka-Omeda. It is super easy to get to the "central" area of Osaka. The Airbnb itself was very clean and super spacious! There is enough space to accommodate a family of 4 (or 5 if you're willing to squeeze into and share a bed). The kitchen was very well stocked and the linens were too. Outside of the Airbnb, there are plenty of restaurants, 7-11's, mini-marts, and even an AWESOME grocery store we wish we would've discovered sooner just 5 minutes away. If you happen to catch the Sake Bar directly across from the Airbnb open during the day or night, check them out! A super friendly Japanese couple own it. It's very popular amongst the locals there and though no one speaks English, they are super friendly. They even gifted us a bottle of Sake on our last day to have when we got back to the USA. They are so sweet. Lots to luv
