Comfortable street view studio in a beautiful area of Upper East Side, laundry in the building, AC, wifi and all essentials. Close to shops, bars, 2 blocks from the Q train and 4 blocks from the 6 train, 10min walk to Central Park. Furnished Quarters has been an extremely accommodating, pleasant and efficient host from beginning to end. Smooth check in process, attentive to any requests and they were able to accommodate a late check out. Recommended 100 %.

Let’s start with the Pro’s on this place. 1. The place is clean and looks like the pictures. 2. The Furnished Quarters staff are very responsive & helpful. 3. The location can’t be beat. It’s 2 blocks up from the Q and 3 down and 2 blocks over from the 6. Tons of restaurant options, grocery stores, pharmacies & shopping around. Only 15mins from the park. Now the cons: 1. The place is not quiet like the listing says. At all. It’s on the ground floor, directly in front of the street & the trash cans. Every time someone throws out their trash at 1am (which happened multiple times in the month & a half I was there) you will hear it. Also every time someone runs down the stairs and slams the front door you will hear it & feel it in the vibrating floor and walls. Be aware the apartment will be too dark during the day (you can’t open the blinds unless you want everyone to see you as they walk past) and too bright at night as the streetlight comes through the white blinds. New York is noisy (I’ve lived here 10 years) but if you are a light sleeper or like your peace & quiet don’t stay here. The super is very nice but be prepared if he catches you throwing out the trash you will get a lecture on how to do it. I got one and I could hear every time he gave one to someone else. 2. I had to reach out to the staff because it’s not clear how to refill the laundry card, my shower rod & curtain fell on my head while I was showering, water dripped from my bathroom ceiling & the WiFi router had to be replaced as it kept dropping out. My door code also stopped working twice during my stay. 3. It’s overpriced for what it is. I think you are mostly paying for the location.

The unit was just as listed, everything went well with checkin and our two month stay, we had a couple of issues with the door code deactivating and leaving us locked out of the apartment, but the hosts team was quick to reply with a new code once notified, they handled any issues in a matter of minutes, great stay and support. Thanks!!
