Great spot to spend time, friendly hosts, in a beautiful location, and it is very peaceful, and our room was as described. This is the only hotel in Waratah, Tasmania, and it was lovely to spend time with and hear stories from the locals in the bar/restaurant during our stay. Also, we could park our motorbike in the locked shed behind the Pub.

Enjoyed our one night stay at Bischoff's. Across the road from Waratah Falls - easily viewed from outside the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small but had what was required. We didn't use the communal bathroom, kitchen area or seating area upstairs. Continental Breakfast was included but only included instant coffee, white bread and basic cereals, which suited me fine but may not suit others. There was the option to order and pay for cooked breakfast the night before. We had dinner in the pub area which was enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception. A great place to spend a night or two.
