Comfortable modern home. Amazing amount of back-yard for lakeside. Our kiddos loved being on the bike path. Bringing a boat will require some planning; we used the dock for fishing and swimming only.

I rented this home with my brother and his family - 4 adults, 2 tweens, and 2 toddlers. There was plenty of space for all of us inside and out. The house was in a great location along the bike path with access to the lake for swimming or boating. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The agent we worked with at check in was also very responsive and helpful. We all had a great time.

We had a very nice stay, the views are beautiful from the house and down at the dock. The house was clean and has lots of natural light. We had our boat there for the week which really made our time there wonderful. I look forward to being back up there when the border opens as Magog has much more to offer than Newport as far as dinning.

This place is so far the only bnb I would have a repeat visit to. it was clean, spacious, with lots of yard to access in front of private lake access. It's too bad this property is coming off air bnb because I would go back.

The location is remote and quiet if you like that sort of thing, which we do. The sunsets and views are amazing. We enjoyed the lake very much, swimming and fishing. You do have to cut across the bike trail and walk down quite a few stairs to the water/dock so it was a bit difficult to bring the kayaks down. We managed and it was worth it but it’s definitely a two/three person operation. The house is literally on the bike trail which was great for the kids. Newport allows recreational vehicles on certain roads, something we didn’t know, people should look into the rules if they like that sort of thing. There is a place to rent boats close by as well for a fair price. We rented a pontoon and stayed out on the lake for the day which was fun. The downtown is quaint and cute, with a great ice cream place. Using the fire pit at night was relaxing. The master suite/bath is very nice as well. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with everything we needed. Communication from the owners as well as their agent was really good. We would love to stay here again in the future.
