My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Filipe’s apartment. It was lovely and comfortable and very clean. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. We had everything we needed. Aveiro was just lovely, with lots to see and do in the local area plus we used it as a base to explore other cities around Aveiro too. We enjoyed a gondola trip on the canals, it was very interesting and informative and accessible to different languages. Costa Nova beach was beautiful for a walk up to the lighthouse and was easily accessible by bus. We didn’t have a car on our 6 nights stay and had no problem in travelling around the area. Everyone was lovely and friendly. My daughter does speak Portuguese so maybe that helped but everyone was really nice. We cannot recommend Filipe’s apartment enough. There were lots of lovely cafe’s and restaurants within a short walk and we enjoyed our evening meals out. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Filipe’s apartment for our next trip to Aveiro.
