We had such a wonderful time staying at the property. The cabin itself was really nice, clean, and super comfortable. It is modern enough for today’s world but rustic enough to bring you back in time. The location is private and simply amazing. The views are so calming and peaceful. The sky at night is absolutely breathtaking. So bring your telescope! We watched DVD’s, played games, did crossword puzzles, read books, took amazing naps with the lake breeze, and practiced our casting techniques. 🎣 This was a low key week long vacation for a family who lives in a busy world. So if you’re looking to decompress from life this is the PLACE!! The host did an awesome job at giving instructions to us prior to arrival. He was superb at responding. Also we made sure to be respectful of the neighbors as well since the location is extremely remote and very quiet. We can’t wait to try and book another trip for next year !!

Great place to spend a long weekend away. Beautiful private cove with calm waters and sandy beach. Plenty of windows to open for the breeze off the lake. Kids all had a great time by the water. Lots of outdoor seating options between chairs, benches, and swings. Highly recommend.

We loved Gary’s place. The view and location is unlike anything I have experienced on a vacation before. The water was a little warmer than I anticipated and crystal clear. We brought kayaks and used them every day. The waterfront is so expansive and gorgeous I couldn’t believe it was real. The home was well stocked with anything we could have needed for our family with teenagers; with lots of seating, space, and comfortable touches. We loved the cabin in the woods feel of the home and are already contemplating coming back for an adult trip. We spent a day on Mackinac Island and a day at Sault St. Marie, and a couple days enjoying the beautiful surroundings at Gary’s place!

Great spot if you want to get away from the crowds. It was our first time in Michigan so it was a bit out of the way from all the spots we wanted to check out but that’s not the owners fault. If you want a nice place on the lake where you can relax this is a good place for you.

This is the perfect place if You want to unplug …. We had corn hole and puzzles some basketballs was a little disappointing that the boats wasn’t operational but the towns people are awesome and the house is beautiful the view is indescribable.
