We had the most wonderful stay at the freaks of nature retreat in the Mary Kingsley tent. It was our first time glamping and it did not disappoint. The property was peaceful and private, full of wildlife and gorgeous views. The tent and bathroom were decked out with everything that we needed, the shower being a highlight with views of the valley. Thanks Nonie for our stay, we would absolutely recommend booking and would love to come back one day.

We’ve stayed in a number of glamping tents around the world, this is on par. Everything has been thought of, from the provided robes to the landscaping blending into the bush surrounds. Above all, amazingly relaxing… Don’t even think about it, just book!

The Airbnb was wonderful. So beautiful and relaxing. So much space inside the tent and so much to enjoy outside it as well. Will definitely visit again!

Me and my partner came and stayed here from Melbourne our 10 year anniversary. Everything about this place was amazing…. The tent, surrounding views, wildlife and the starry night were incredible! It was also easy access to the river where we had a swim which was incredibly refreshing… It is only about 15 minute drive from town so super easy to access shops and restaurants if you need anything. Also, amazing walks and bike tracks in big national parks to go to which were also really close. Nonie was also an amazing host, super friendly and always replied almost instantly if I had any questions. The whole experience was 10/10 and we will definitely be wanting to come back.

We loved our stay. Beautiful surroundings with the noise of the snowy river and the birds, wallabies eating in the afternoon/evenings, a local possum coming to visit post dinner the only things interrupting our stay. Clean and lovely tent set up - comforts whilst getting the feel of being in nature. We loved the baths in the evening on the deck looking at the stars. Loved our stay.
