Très beau séjour chez Tara. Le terrain était parfait pour la raquette et nous étions à 30 minutes du versant nord de Tremblant. Le foyer a été complice de toutes nos soirées dans le salon paisible. Merci !

The three sided fireplace in the centre of the living area added so much charm, as you can see it from all three areas. The grounds were lovely, surrounded by hills where we enjoyed snowshoeing. The house was well stocked with utensils and spices, lots of towels and linens. The main floor bedroom had beautiful views, as did all the rooms. Our family was able to sit comfortably at the dining table, where lots of games were also played. Over all we were happy to be there, and look forward to our next stay with Tara!

Tara’s house in Arundel is a real gem. The land is beautiful, and the home is charming and well appointed. Tara is a hands on host with good experience in the area and helpful ideas. We enjoyed making Irish coffees in the evenings around the fireplace in her living room. Such a great vibe. We got to see the leaves change, which was stunning. While the first 10 days of our 16 day trip would have justified a 5-star review, we unfortunately had some negative interactions that tainted our stay. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children (6, 3, and 2). While we tried to keep the house relatively clean during the day and tidy up after the kids went to sleep at night, Tara provided some harsh feedback that we were disrupting the energy of the home and mistreating her possessions. It was a surprising and abrupt conversation in which we learned that she had entered the home while we were away the day before. We had not damaged any of her possessions with one small exception of a dented closet door, which we communicated about immediately and offered to pay to replace. I think the reality of hosting a family with young kids unfortunately didn’t match the expectations of the host. We have stayed in 20+ Airbnb rentals this year, and this is the first time anyone has given our family negative feedback. In summary, the home is wonderful, and I really wanted to give it 5 stars. If you are a couple or individual, or even if you have teenage children, I think this is a great house. Unfortunately, I would not advise other similarly-aged families to stay there, and we would not stay there again.

Tara’s place was beautiful, had an amazing week. Spent a lot of time outside walking around the barn and woods. My dog cooper loved it, very dog friendly! Everything you need is already there. No wifi but you do get reception outside if you needed. It was good to get out of the hustle and bustle, and really unwind. Tara came over to great us such a wonderful host super down to earth, truly an amazing person, had great conversations and laughs . Will definitely come back.
