This was my 2nd stay at the Victorian home and will stay again when in the area. The cliche “home away from home” certainly applies. Arryn provides everything you could possibly need from a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, and extra linens. A very clean and comfortable place to stay with a good location close to downtown Carlinville restaurants.

Such an adorable home! We were making a quick stop between auburn IL and Bethalto IL. For one night. Decided Carlinville would be the town. The home is adorable Victorian era. Very spacious and clean. Such detail to keeping with the era. There is a small exercise area in the basement which was great. The home is in walkable distance to the downtown square right on Route 66. Such a great unexpected perfect find!

This is a very large, well kept older home. The rooms are spacious. kitchen is clean. Stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge are clean and work well. There are kitchen utensils and pots and pans. She also has coffee, tea, water filtration, paper plates, etc. The bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. There was plenty hot water for an unrushed shower. My bed had clean linens. plenty of pillows, and a TV. Arryn has been very thoughtful to the needs of her guest which makes for a great stay. I have enjoyed my stay and plan to stay again when I return to the area. This is a great place to stay and great price. Thank you Arryn for another great experience.
