We had a lovely stay for 3 nights here. Carren was super welcoming and friendly, a warm and lovely person who made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. The set up is really private and the location is quite special with fantastic views and walks. There is a lovely pub a short walk away that we went to each night overlooking the castle. Facilities were fine. Definitely clean and plenty of cooking equipment. I would have preferred a BBQ rather than a camping stove, and it would have been good to have access to a fridge and somewhere to charge phones, but that's just my personal preference. I am a single mum so I like to keep my phone charged in case of emergencies (some may prefer the peace!). I have stayed in previous clamping sites with fridges and BBQ's, but not a big deal in the scheme of things. I would definitely highly recommend this to others.

We had two nights - great hosts, friendly and helpful. What a peaceful and beautiful location which was rather spoiled by Storm Betty - 55 mph winds and torrential rain one night. Therefore the weather dampened our desire for BBQs and the BBQ itself was tiny. We would recommend checking the opening hours of the local take-away restaurants as some seem to close early. Very comfortable bed although rather soft for us in a cosy bell-tent.

I stayed with my daughter for two nights the place is absolutely incredible, fantastic views and an even more incredible sunset. Carren was fantasticly friendly and realy made us feel at home, with everything we could have ever needed already there waiting for us when we arrived... thanks for a great stay and we will be back for sure:)

Carren was the best host I've experienced when booking any accommodation. She was super helpful and her recommendation of going to St.Govan's Chapel made us very happy; its a beautiful place and a must go!! When we first arrived Carren and Giles met us at the door with their happy doggos and showed us to where we were staying. It was a lovely private area with the tent, outside shower which was lovely, a seating area, firepit and big grass area. We were a little unfortunate with the weather so didnt manage to get on the river with our paddleboards, but that didnt stop us enjoying every second of our stay. Carren let us charge our powerbanks in her home so we had enough battery to get us home on our 6 hour drive. She also offered to let us cook dinner in her kitchen as it was raining too much to bbq, but we had already booked a table at a restaurant. Carren couldnt have done more for us. She was a perfect host, and super friendly which made us feel right at home. Thank you so much
