We loved the location as so peaceful. You cannot get anywhere without driving but we expected this and it wasn’t a problem for us at all. Spacious house and lots of private outdoor space. The wisteria covered pergola was lovely to sit under on hot days and to enjoy the evening sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped although the oven door handle has broken off. Helaine was very responsive and helpful when we contacted her about a few things. Wifi works but is very weak signal compared to what we are used to in UK. Plentiful hot water available at all times. Pool was clean but it is unheated so my husband and I weren’t hardy enough to go in! My daughter and her partner enjoyed it though. 30-40 minute drive to the coast. Fantastic Continente supermarket in Loulé which had everything you could possibly need including vegetarian and gluten free foods. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks and would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful, spacious, peaceful and well equipped property. Very clean and well looked after, we had a very comfortable stay (me, three children 13, 16, 19 plus boyfriend of eldest child). The local area has some great hikes, good amenities an easy drive away and is well located for day trips to the Algarve beaches and wider area if you can drag yourself away from the pool. I would definitely stay again if visiting with my family. Helaine was a perfect host, attentive, responsive and efficient.

Our group had a wonderful time! The space is so much more beautiful and spacious than the photos let on. The house is very big as are the bedrooms, the kitchen and bathrooms. The bathrooms are new and modern and the outside space is idyllic. There are multiple terraces, and beautiful outdoor eating area. The pool is a short walk down the path from the house, it’s large, perfect a adults and kids and has lots of space to enjoy. The location and surrounding area are quiet and picture perfect. Healing was always easy to connect with to answer questions or make local recommendations. With the 30-35 degree temperatures it was hard to keep the house cool and the bedrooms were quite hot at night but otherwise our stay was wonderful!

Nous avons passé un bon sejour chez Helaine. J'ai trouvé dommage que personne ne nous accueille a l'arrivée mais Helaine etait quand même toujours très reactive aux messages à tout moment. Je déplore également que les sols et tapis semblaient ne pas avoir été nettoyés comme le pourtour des fenêtres. La maison est typique des anciennes maisons de l'Algarve mais avec toutes les commodités du fait des 2 salles de bains refaites a neuf et de la qualite de la literie. C'est une maison isolée et parfaite pour se ressourcer au calme car il n'y a vraiment aucun bruit. Cet isolement n'a qu'un seul problème c'est qu'il faut faire plusieurs kilomètres pour faire des activités, arriver en ville ou a la plage. Heureusement la piscine est plus grande qu'elle n'y parait sur les photos et l'eau y est très agréable et propre. Ce fut un plaisir d'en profiter. Helaine avait également prit soin de nous laisser du linge de toilette mais aussi une serviette pour la piscine.

" Un grand wahou" à l'arrivée, un endroit magnifique, atypique : belle maison , belle piscine et extérieur. 3 chambres charmantes , un salon typiquement portugais, 2 salles de bain moderne et fraîchement refaites. Nous avons eu une déception dans la cuisine même si elle est très belle avec beaucoup de charme, manque d'une machine à café électrique et d'un peu de ménage. Sinon Hélène a été très réactive à nos demandes. Merci pour ces quelques jours passés chez vous.
