Great option to stay in Porto if you’re looking for a quiet area and relax in the garden after a long day exploring the city. A bit far from the centre, but easily reachable by public transport or other services as Uber or Bolt (which have reasonable prices and are very efficient!). Excellent communication from the hosts, with local recommendations. The house was accurate to description and the photos.

Logement vraiment bien, fonctionnel, bien placé. Malheureusement je ne peux pas mettre 5 étoiles car un incident a priori indépendant de la volonté de l'hôte a perturbé notre séjour. Je recommande cependant ce logement à Porto.

The house is exactly as pictured and is a terrific value for the price as a two bedroom space in such close proximity to the Polo Universario metro stop. However, the host company, Hostwise, could certainly do a better job managing the property. They were a bit slow to respond, they didn’t clean the house properly (this stay we struggled fighting off ants inside the house), they scheduled a dishwasher maintenance person to visit the first morning of our stay, and they didn’t provide adequate amenities for the length of the stay (think one dish detergent pod, 2 coffee pods, and zero laundry detergent). That said, they were gracious enough to cancel the maintenance person when we made it clear our jet lag would make the visit impractical, and we also appreciated the bottle of wine provided as a welcome gift. Overall, if you understand what you’re getting into, this is a solid place to stay for the price. We’ve stayed her multiple times in the past, and will likely stay again.
