A great stay!

So we booked this place a couple of months in advance. We were excited about staying there but never got the chance for we had to cancel the day of check in when we got a message from the Host stating the following. The cabin is having electrical issues and the stove and fridge is on extension cords but you can’t have both plugged in at the same time, also the jacuzzi isn’t working. And the door doesn’t have a key so if you are fine with that then we will see you soon but if not then we will give a full refund. We can understand some last min. issues but the biggest was no key for the door so we can lock it. Seemed not safe being a cabin in the middle of the woods that doesn’t lock. Knowing the locking issues before hand would have saved us some extra money we had to spend on a last minute hotel without a kitchen. Though Air BnB did give us a small reimbursement on that hotel the trip still costed us more than we wanted due to eating out and the actual price for the room. Air BnB needs to take more responsibility for their host not disclosing important information.

We loved our stay at this quiet cabin in the woods. The open floor plan and high ceilings made it feel open and airy while still managing to be cozy. The location was secluded and private, there were tons of deer who visited us in the morning. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay in nature. Can't wait to come back!

This was better than I could have imagined- comfortable, quiet, peaceful, full of character and charm. We had a wonderful respite here and hope to be back soon. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
