Absolutely loved staying at the igloo cottage. Such a cute little place with everything we possibly could need. The pantry was very well stocked and a lovely bottle of wine awaited us on arrival. The fireplace was a lovely touch for us. All linen was clean and fresh and there were spare blankets and pillows if needed. A 2 minute stroll to the beach was loved by all of us. We would definitely recommend staying here, we will be back for sure. Thanks Jess and Joe.

We had great 2 day stay with the family at the “Igloo” in Portarlington. Very comfortable and great facilities. We’ll certainly be coming back to stay next time we are in the area.

Jess was very helpful in providing us information. The place itself felt like home. The beach view is amazing. And our favourite was catching sunrise just a walk away down, you can see the sheep too. The kitchen is stocked with herbs & spices, the fridge too but be sure to check for expiry. There are toys for my kids to play which is a great touch because not many airbnb caters for kids. However, the main bedroom lacked of privacy as the doors are just sliding doors with windows. And the curtains at the living room is not blocked out, its translucent. Hence at night, when the lights are on, your movements can be seen from the outside despite closing the curtains. Overall, its an awesome place and the issue above can easily be fixed by host to change to black out curtains. Really recommend this!

We had such a lovely getaway in The Igloo. The area was so quiet and peaceful, the beach was a few minutes walk down the road, and a 5 minute drive to the shops. if you plan on staying, try the Staple Eatery and Deli in town. The pizzas were delicious! The property itself was perfect. Beds were comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the lounge area was really spacious and everything was immaculate and clean. Jess is a fantastic host, extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions. Check in was also super easy. Overall a wonderful property for a perfect little weekend getaway.
