Helen's lodge is in a beautiful setting with everything one would require within the property. Helen was very obliging when we requested a slightly earlier check-in. The extent of the grounds is amazing and the availability of riverside seating is a wonderful bonus. The only improvement we could suggest was that the outside courtyard could have been cleaned up somewhat but perhaps the recent poor weather has not allowed for it to be done. Highly recommend.

We are a family of four with two young boys visiting. Helen was very helpful well before the stay with check in and driving institutions. We found the house very easily - parking and check in were super smooth. House was spotless, and is everything from the pictures- our boys had fun with some of the games in the reception room. Private views of the canal were beautiful and peaceful. Would visit again! Thanks Helen!
