ARIS ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns die Wohnung gezeigt. Nach einer Woche gab es eine zwischenreinigung und frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher. ARIS hat uns viel über Zypern erzählt und uns mehrfach eingeladen. Ein großzügiger, sehr sympathischer Mensch. Gerne immer wieder!

Kalomira is a gem! It is a charming historic home that has been expertly renovated and modernized. Plenty of space for a small family, with two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a lovely kitchen, dining and living space, and plenty of light. I was very comfortable and had everything I could possibly need. The location is also great: the house is about equal distance from the Ledra area (shopping, restaurants, banks, the pedestrian checkpoint) and the Famagusta Gate area (galleries, studios, cafes). Everything in the walled city is walkable from here! And though the house is on a main road, the noise is not bad at all. Parking is easy at the farmer's market lot just across the street (though you might have to negotiate with the manager). Above all, I want to emphasize how warm and responsive a host Aris is: he was in contact with me well before my visit, and proactively checked in during my stay to make sure all is well, offering advice and suggestions. I will be back!

The place was incredible and beyond what we imagined, very well furnished, Aris restored this historic house and kept its antique beauty. You are very close to all the important sights and everything is walkable. Aris is a great host and was always very responsive to our questions.

Kalomira is utterly charming. Aris has renovated an old Nicosia house with care and attention to detail, leaving the character and charm of the old building while updating the kitchen/bathrooms/adding air con etc Aris has decorated the rooms with family furniture and artefacts, creating a special atmosphere. There is even a working record player and a collection of records! Though at the heart of Nicosia, the house looks out over the ancient city walls and a football pitch and park with tall trees, creating a feeling of space within the city. Sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening was delightful, the light is beautiful. Aris is a communicative and relaxed host who filled the fridge with delights and welcomed us warmly. We had a ball, thank you Aris!
