Great peaceful place to stay next to the Clark Fork River. Good communication from Janis on how to get in and very helpful with questions about the area. The silo could be seen as a little quirky, but it was actually quite comfortable.

What a gorgeous location and the silo was beautifully decorated and very comfy! It felt like a dreamy holiday to be so cozy while enjoying the natural beauty. Also close to Quinn’s which made for a nice excursion and a delicious dinner out! The hosts have gone out of their way to make a slice of heaven that you’ll want to return to over and over again

The Silo Chateau was better than expected! The scenery was jaw dropping, the river was perfect for a swim on a hot afternoon and the accommodations themselves were lovely! It’s a very cute, functional and well thought out space that is perfect for any trip to Plains. We greatly appreciated how kind the hosts were, while still giving us lots of privacy, and it was so fun to swim, paddle board and use their dock. 20 stars ⭐️ would absolutely recommend, and will be back!

Glen and Janis were wonderful hosts, and good people to meet. Their home is a truly unique visual masterpiece…interesting and useful repurposed furnishings integrated into the building process. They’ve created a fantastic oasis for quiet relaxation. This home is not only visually appealing, but we enjoyed listening to, as well as watching all the wildlife in this rural river habitat.
