"From the Ashes" is a newly constructed home after our original home burned down in March of 2018. We love our new space and would love to share it with others that enjoy short walks to beaches, the library and the OAB, downtown Leland and of course - FISHTOWN. The front of the home offers a covered deck that has sliding doors with direct access to a full kitchen, perfect for eating outside. On cold days, warm up inside next to the gas fireplace. Our home is bright and eclectic, there are art pieces and furniture I've collected on travels and from antique shops. It's cozy and comfortable with all the amenities of home. We have a full kitchen with all the gadgets you could think of, small charcoal grill, laundry, Wi-Fi, TV with DVD player, outside shower, light weight sets for working out. Towels, beach towels, blankets, sheets, and pillows are provided. A studio loft is located above the garage. On occasion, my daughter and myself may be living there. This loft has a separate entry and does not share any space with the rest of the home.

First time using Airbnb. Very glad we did because our family loved everything about our stay. The home is beautiful, comfortable , clean , and top design choices in every room. It felt like home! We got to meet our host and she was absolutely amazing. 5 star everything from start to finish. We’ll be back again!

Leland is a special town. Small and quaint, with beautiful sandy beaches. When the rest of the country is sweltering Norther MI is the place to be!

We had a magical stay at Julie’s home. The proximity to town and our favorite beach (Van’s) up north cannot be beat. To be able to just walk was perfect. The home itself has everything you could ask for. We used the boogie boards and bubbles in the garage. Based on Julie’s recs we went to one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at the Tribune in Northport! She has literally thought of everything and the place is spotless. We would love to return to this beautiful home.

Location, location, location - if you're a beach lover this is the spot for you! Within 2 blocks you'll have access to the local beaches. It's absolutely one of my family's favorite things to do - especially after dinner - we typically snag an ice cream at the Harbor House, walk the dock at Fishtown, and end up for the sunset at Van's Beach. Beach toys are available to borrow. The Leland Library will loan out books and movies to vacationers, be sure to visit!
