Great location of the hotel. There was a clear sign on the door with a contact number and someone came to greet us quickly. Room was good! I do wish there was blackout blinds or curtains but that’s personal preference.

My booking was accepted but there wasn't any response to a couple of messages I sent and I was worried no entry instructions had been supplied. However, when we arrived there was a telephone number clearly displayed. The host appeared immediately and gave clear instructions. The room was clean and pleasant and was soon warm when the radiator was turned on. Nice towels were supplied. Would benefit from a bed side lamp. The ceiling light was bright. The bedding was fine. The pillows soft, mattress a little hard for my liking. The bathroom wasn't heated so felt very cold as outside temperature was 2 degrees. The shower is connected to the taps and was adequate. Decent tea and coffee facilities and a nice big wall mounted TV. There was some traffic noise due to the location but not too bad. Great central location close to shops, sea, Tower etc. There is a fantastic quality fish and chip shop next door called Finesse. cooked fresh to order. Worth the wait. Friendly owner; cooked and hosted.

Matthew & Claire were very pleasant and helpful. The room radiator was not hearing completely. After being informed, Matthew supplied an electric heater. Whilst we were out, he got the radiator sorted and it was working properly. My wife had left her diabetic tester at home. Claire kindly lent her one of her own during our stay. Very kind and helpful owners.
