The apartment met our needs but the description of boutique style hotel in the listing was definitely a stretch. The place needs some updating. The location was good though and all information was communicated efficiently.

As a host on Airbnb and considering the multiple messages with their pretty aggressive approach to the no party and no smoking rules, I had pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, they were not met. Before arriving I reached out to the host with questions about the area and the only response I got was yet ANOTHER message threatening to charge me $1000 if I don’t follow the no party rule. When I arrived after a 10 hour drive from Florida the entire apartment was covered in what seemed to be sawdust. It was all over the floor, furniture, even the beds. One of the rooms had the curtain and rod as well as a mirror thrown on the bed. The list goes on and on. When I sent the picture to the host he claimed it was the maintenance guy and apologized. When I sent another message letting him know about the rest of the mess no response! The worst part of it all was having to kill spiders and bugs all weekend. If you don’t like bugs, BEWARE!!
