There are two Superior room with patio, 'Equisetum' and 'Rosa Canina'. A Superior room on the ground floor. Here green pervades and it is the perfect place to relax and feel energy. The warm wood panelling frames the fireplace to cheer the afternoons and evenings in the colder seasons. The green and earthy coloured tiles in the bathroom recall the colours of the forest. On-site parking is free for the duration of your stay. 23 mq for each room. Max occupancy 2 people. That rooms are part of 'Tenuta il Sassone', in 500 acres of unspoilt forest and Mediterranean vegetation and located in a prominent hillside, this organic oil and wine production resort offers you comfort and relaxation. The villa provides at your disposal : A restaurant service for breakfast (included), with the possibility of having lunch and/or dinner. A panoramic swimming pool with chlorine-free water, with towels available for guests. You will be able to visit our winery and taste our wines. Opportunity of trekking through the vineyards and woods of the estate. Stable available for visits

Beim Il Sassone handelt es sich eher um ein sehr gutes Hotel als ein AirBnB ;-) Die Lage ist wunderschön auf einem „Berg“ ohne Nachbarn. Allein um zum/vom Grundstück zu kommen fährst du (mit dem Auto) ca. 5 Minuten. Also um wo anders hin zu kommen, etwas Zeit einplanen. Das Hotel selbst hat nur 7 Zimmer. Diese sind gut ausgestattet, nicht wahnsinnig modern aber auch nicht zu sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Alles war sauber & die Zimmer wurden jeden Morgen hergerichtet. Das Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und sehr reichhaltig (Vor allem was für Süß-Fans). Alles ist frisch gebacken & selbst zubereitet vom tollen Küchenteam. Zum Mittagessen (ca. 20€ p.P.) gibt es was leichtes, wir bekamen Anti Pasti & Brot mit Aufstrich. Das Abendessen ist immer ein 4-Gang Menü (ca. 40-50€ p.P. je nach dem was es gibt). Alles hat wunderbar lokal geschmeckt! Die Angestellt*innen sind sehr zuvorkommend & höflich (es sprechen übrigens fast alle deutsch). Getränke kannst du jederzeit bestellen, ob eigenen Wein (hatten den Vino Bianco der sehr gut war), Caffé oder Wasser. Preise für Getränke sind moderat & Wasser ist in einer Pauschale mit 2€ für den gesamten Aufenthalt abgedeckt. Klare Empfehlung für alle die Ruhe & Erholung suchen.
The farmhouse and surrounding views were beautiful. Unfortunately there were some issues during our stay - as the cancellation policy was not as stated on airbnb. Additionally, the suite was not 100% cleaned when we arrived - there was phlegm on the wall, which we had to wipe off.

Surrounded by nature we are near to the Maremma National Park and just a few minutes away from some of the most beautiful coastlines ever seen.

'Giardino dei Tarocchi', 'Giardino di Daniel Spoerri', 'Parco Archeologico di Baratti e Populonia', 'Parco Archeominerario di San Silvestro', 'Parco della Maremma'.
There are also numerous seaside location within easy reach, such as Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia, the famous Cala Violina, Cala Martina, Punta Ala.
