Lisa was an excellent host, touching base to welcome us and make sure we had what we needed. Many of Josh and Jenna’s touches are still there such as the great DVD collection and children’s games. The old girl is a very sweet shack and with her age you expect her to be a little worn out, but is in desperate need of some pretty urgent repairs/maintenance .. the sagging ceiling made me a little nervous! (Unseen in promotion photos to ‘know what you’re getting’) Other than that - a really great location and comfortable space to be in, thank you for having us :)

After several visits to The Shack, looking forward to many more. Full of old world charm, you have everything you could possibly need.. It is a drive to restaurants, or an adventurous several kilometer walk (which we finally got around to doing this trip). You can walk along the road, or beautiful beaches there and back: good exercise! If you're looking for something a little different, you should definitely check out The Shack ! PS Special thanks to Lisa for the lovely wine which we enjoyed with dinner. Cheers from around the table for that :0)

Lovely quiet place to stay. Great location to stay and then visit attractions. I felt like I had gone back in time which brought a smile to my face. Lisa is a great host and her communication was great!

So cosy and close to the hustle and bustle of Apollo Bay. My husband and I loved relaxing in the little shack, listening to records by the fire. It was a great "base camp" for exploring Apollo Bay and the Otway national park. Lisa was so responsive and kind. Definitely recommend.
