The Gnome Home was the perfect home away from home for a few days in the mountains! The space was so clean and tidy and had everything we needed to feel right at home! Basia was the most responsive and friendly host I have ever experienced and she went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Cannot recommend this space enough! We will definitely stay here again on our travels to the Pass! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience Basia!

Basia was an excellent host! She was responsive, kind, friendly, understanding (when I had to make a last minute change to my arrival date)...and she made me feel welcome and right at home from the moment I arrived! The Gnome Home was absolutely perfect! It was clean, simple and quiet. Set in a peaceful neighbourhood...and I loved the little balcony out the back. It truly felt like a home away from home and I would stay again! Basia was so great and a pleasure to chat with! Thank you so much!

Basia is an amazing host - always there, always helpful, never intrusive. The “Gnome Home” is a great base to explore the beauty of the Crowsnest Pass. Located in very picturesque Coleman, there’s a ton to explore in this little 1900’s era mining town. A couple of good restaurants are within walking distance (The Rumrunner is a must). There’s a perfect dog friendly backyard. Lots of green space. Basia and her canine buddy Azra were great hosts. Azra is still a little unsure about strange dogs, but there’s a very efficient separation system in place. Try the Miners Path for your evening dog walk. You will not be disappointed. If you’re working remotely, the internet is fast and reliable. Weather permitting, there’s a lovely little deck that will allow you to work outside. Can’t say enough good things about such outstanding hosts as Steve, Basia and the amazing Azra!

Loved this spot! Super close to walking paths and the crow river if you like to fish. Barbara and Steve were very generous hosts making sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back
