We had a great time at Abbie's. It was a beautiful home best suited for adults or older children. We loved looking at the pond in front of the house with the frogs and the waterfall. If you are traveling with small children, I would not recommend this home because of the pond and the front door. The exterior doors are secured by a keypad lock only that is at the height of a standard lower doorknob, which is pretty low. There are no locks higher up on the door. Our toddler was able to unlock and open the front door next to the pond quite easily. There is also a light switch in the bathroom that is open with capped off wires visible that your child could stick their finger into. Just an fyi for fellow parents of littles.

we had a relaxed stay at this place. A great view when we made breakfast from the kitchen. The kids stayed in the back room and it was spacious and warm. We bought our own cooking spatula and extra kitchen towel and it was needed. Great location close to downtown Nevada City and less than 50 minutes to go skiing in the Sugar Bowl.

We loved our stay here! The house was spacious and clean and the patio/outdoor seating area was lovely. Very close to town, but still tucked away if you want some peace and quiet.

I’m glad that I chose this place. It was spacious, cozy, and had everything one could need, plus some. The living room was very cozy, made even more whimsical by the energetic frogs in the pond outside. The couch was kind of sunken and uncomfortable, but not the worst I’ve experienced. The TV was not actually signed into any of the streaming services as advertised, but wasn’t a big deal. The bed was pretty comfy, and I slept well in it. Shower was clean, spacious, had excellent water pressure, and plenty of hot water. For future guests, I’d recommend cross-referencing the app and guest book for check-in and check-out instructions since some information was ever-so-slightly mismatched. That being said, the check-in and check-out was easy, Abbie was super responsive and accommodating. It was an overall very comfortable stay.
