Comfortable cottage in a quiet location with beautiful sunsets . Cottage had everything needed for our stay. We had our 3 yr old grandson with us and the staircase to the open loft required many “no’s” but he loved playing with the kiddie toys that were available. The large property was great for kite flying.

The cottage we stayed at on Brule Point near Tatamagouche was so relaxing. We travelled during Thanksgiving weekend, Oct. 2023. Each of the 3 beds comfortably slept two each, and our daughter loved the loft space. The living space is very comfortable with lots of natural light. The bathroom sink and shower are modern, and it is useful to have both washer and dryer on site. The cottage is at the end of a deadend lane so very quiet and private. The kitchen is well stocked which allowed us to do a full turkey dinner! A washer toss game and bocce was available, along with board games and novels. Although we could not take advantage of the beach below the cliff, it was a short 15 minute drive to Rushton Beach Provincial Park which had an expansive beach and even in October warm enough water to take our shoes off, roll up the pant legs, and walk in the ocean. The small town of Tatamagouche is only 10 minutes away and has a few cute shops, restaurants, and one amazing craft brewery.

Four friends enjoyed our stay at Jill’s comfortable cottage, which is tastefully decorated and well appointed. We were blessed with great weather, and the view of the sunsets over the water was spectacular! Jill quickly responded to any questions, and we had no complaints. Conveniently located near such interesting attractions as Tatamagouche and Jost Vineyards in Malagash, it’s easy to recommend Jill’s cottage for a fall getaway!

Beautiful sunsets masked the attack of the mosquitos. Amazing cabin by the sea for a perfect getaway to recharge. Thank you Jill.

Jill's beautiful cottage is well equipped and in a lovely, peaceful location which provided the opportunity to shut off for a few days. She is responsive and thoughtful amenities were provided such as coffee, toys, and beach chairs. The only real inconveniences were that we didn't have a place to store waste or food scraps (only a tiny bin was provided and we were a family of 6 for 4 days) and the fact that the washing machine doesn't really work. Beware of the mosquitos, they are relentless and thermacells weren't really effective. Overall though a nice place to visit.
